Qatargas Operating Company has exciting opportunities available for qualified professionals to join our company in the development of the vast North Field in Qatar. Qatargas currently has under development over $20 billion worth of major projects, including the construction of four new Liquefied Natural Gas trains for the production and export of LNG to every corner of the globe.

Senior Production Performance Engineer

• Advise on all aspects of Production Engineering and Production Optimization
• Guide Production Engineers in preparation and implementation of programmes
• Accountable for well integrity
• Mentor Qatari graduated engineers

Experience Required:
• 10-15 years experience in well operations and production optimization
• Familiar with high-pressure sour gas environment
• Familiar with SAP, PROSPER, WEM, SAPHIR

Production Engineer

• Initiate well intervention programmes
• Establish and implement tree, wellhead and SSSV maintenance
• Establish and conduct well testing programmes
• Monitor and optimize Gas/Liquid recoveries
• Provide and run annulus pressure and corrosion monitoring programmes

Experience Required:
• 5-10 years experience in well operations with 5 years experience in well intervention and production optimization
• Familiar with high-pressure sour gas environment
• Familiar with SAP, PROSPER, WEM, SAPHIR

Well Operations Specialist

• Plan and supervise all well intervention programmes
• Implement tree, wellhead and SSSV maintenance
• Responsible for planning and supervising SIMOPS

Experience Required:
• 5-10 years experience in well operations in high-pressure sour gas environment
• Expert in well intervention
• Good knowledge of drilling operations and SIMOPS

Senior Reservoir Engineer

• Direct reservoir engineering studies and make recommendations to maintain and optimize production
• Define, generate and utilize EOS to represent reservoir fluids
• Mentor reservoir engineers and recommend practical training

Experience Required:
• 10-15 years experience in reservoir engineering work, including studies
• Good background in reservoir software

Reservoir Engineer

• Plans and carry out studies of the gas and gas condensate reservoirs and recommend recovery methods to optimize field exploitation
• Carry out in-house reservoir engineering studies and studies of individual well behaviour and recovery enhancement
• Establish optimum off take rates, drainage pattern, completion intervals and well bore improvements

Experience Required:
• 5-10 years experience in reservoir engineering work, including studies
• Good back ground in reservoir software

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an acountant with oil and gas experience to:

• Operate independently to research, collate, process input and analyze routine financial and accounting date
• Interface with internal and external clients to obtain and provide routine financial information
• Advice and interpret financial documents as required
• Participate in routine specific projects
• Provide advice, guidance and development to less experienced staff

Requirements
• Bachelor of Accounting or Commerce degree
• Minimum of 3 years directly related experience
• Professional accounting qualifications is a plus
• Candidates should be proactive and have strong internal control background
• Experience with SAP or other large financial ERP system is desired
• Excellent English skills are required
