Urgently need: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Surabaya
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preferably professionally qualified and aware of US forms of contract and construction standards with at least 10 years post qualification experience and a clean security record.
Ability to work neatly and accurately under pressure and to very tight deadlines with minimum Supervision.
Responsible to compute Quantity Take-off and BOQ, cost analysis of items from designed drawings for each category and the data for the entire project for future reference and for bidding purposes. (Tender Stage)
Responsible of examining tender documents and establish the project budget and cost code system. (Tender Stage)
Preparing financial report and assessing financial profitability. (Construction Stage to Completion)
Preparing the estimate quantity & cost analysis for civil engineering and building works for the constructions. (Tender Stage/ Construction Stage)
Prepare detailed analysis of resources for operation manpower, materials and machineries. (Tender Stage)
Maintaining the daily progress reports during the construction of the project by consolidating daily reports. (Construction Stage)
Monitoring and updating evaluation on actual project carried out against budget. (Construction Stage)
Prepares actual progress accomplishment report and billing for the project. (Construction Stage)
Check and reviews sub-contractors documents including price offer for subcontracting services. This includes preparation of subcontract and BOQ after approval by the Project Manager. (Pre-Construction Stage)
Assess cost effects when changes occur and agree on variation. (Construction Stage)
Maintaining and updating AFC drawings record against tender drawings. (Construction Stage)
Request for quotation and evaluate competitive sub-con/supplier. (Pre-Construction Stage)
Update list of approved sub-contractors and suppliers. (Construction Stage)
Monitor and update materials purchased in construction operation. (Construction Stage)
Monitor and update equipment used in construction operation. (Construction Stage)

Salary: US$1,500 - US$1,750 Accomodation, Melas are provided
