Our local partner has vacancies to be filled for Heavy Equipment in Kuwait .

Diagnostic Specialist
· The primary purpose of the job is to carry out high-level technical analysis of machine systems with a view of locating and solving system malfunctions, and preparing a detailed technical report highlighting the main defects found during the inspection.
· The ability to use the latest Caterpillar technical evaluation tools to carry out technical examinations of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
· Use the up-to-date Caterpillar software to locate the technical specifications required, and technical documentation that is necessary to complete the inspection and report.
· Prepare a comprehensive report based on the technical analysis and inputs from the various stakeholders.
· From the technical report, prepare a draft document for the customer, including preliminary findings, estimated repair costs and a list of possible parts and options required to fix any problems that may have been identified.
· Were required, visit customers sites and advise on correct maintenance practices that should be followed, including contamination control, safe working practices in conjunction in providing technical training to the customers staff as required with the objective of improving the customers’ overall productivity.
· Carry out any jobs deemed necessary by the Service Operations Manager
· Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. The incumbent must have worked for a period of no less than 4 years as a Senior Service Engineer. He must possesses and demonstrate his ability to use all current CAT Diagnostic equipment effectively and efficiently

Field Service Engineer
· Responsible to carry out accurate repairs in the allotted time frame, and diagnose problems on all types of units that he has been trained on.
· Troubleshoot and repair failures in the safest, quickest possible manner.
· Evaluate Parts for re-usability.
· Order Parts using correct and current micro-fiche etc.
· Return unused Parts on job completion to facilitate job closing and invoicing.
· Maintain his field vehicle if made available in a clean and presentable condition.
· Write Service or Job Reports on each job.
· Maintains good customer contact and relations (if applicable).
· Uses special tools in a safe respectful manner, reporting any damage or breakage immediately to his supervisor.
· Degree either in Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engineering. 10 years CAT dealership experience, the last 5 of which must have been in a specific area, i.e. Engines/General Bay or transmission and Field Service experience.

Senior Field Service Mechanic
· Carry out inspections and repairs to machines/equipment in the field
· Troubleshoot machines/equipment for malfunctions in the field.
· Carry out repairs to machines/equipment in the minimum possible time and the minimum number of trips to customer's sites.
· Portray a representable image for both himself and the Company in front of customers.
· Conduct a very professional behavior towards customers.
· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. English language - spoken and written. Arabic language is a preference. At least 10 years experience in Engine, Hydraulic systems, Power Trains, Steering and Brake Systems for the line of products dealt within the Company, after successful apprenticeship.

Mechanic, General Bay
· To carry out major overhauls and repairs to Caterpillar Earthmoving equipment across the full product range.
· Remove and install major components.
· Recondition and overhaul Final Drives, Axles, Steering, Hydraulics, Undercarriage and any other Machine components within the allotted time.
· Evaluate the reusability of Parts; prepare Parts List using the SIS and order Parts, as required.
· Where required, to carry out TA2 inspections and prepare Reports for review by the Supervisor.
· Ability to use the available Caterpillar diagnostic equipment and specials tools in a correct and safe manner.
· Produce legible and accurate Technical Reports.
· Remain current with all CAT updates.
· Maintain good working practices and use all technical information available.
· Minimum 5 years after the successful completion of Apprenticeship in general repairs in a Caterpillar Dealership.
· Familiar with using CAT diagnostic tools to conduct troubleshooting and repairs to CAT equipment, including, where applicable, the use of the Electronic Technician software.

Mechanic, Truck
· Make quality repair/service. Ability to make quick diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults and know the correct repair method.
· Inspect and diagnose for quick efficient repairs.
· Be prepared to work to a high standard.
· Produce quality work without supervision.
· Be able to read English and to understand technical literature.
· Be able to accept responsibilities.
· Be clean in his work and ensure good housekeeping.
· High School Diploma. Recognized qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering. Should be able to read and write English to a good standard and also read and understand all Technical terminology concerning Trucks. At least 3-5 years practical experience as a qualified Mechanic on the Truck products

Mechanic, Specialization
· Disassemble and correctly re-assemble Engines within the allotted standard time.
· Evaluate Parts for reusability, using the SIS system.
· Tag and identify Parts to be retained for customer inspection and warranty claims.
· Ensure the use of correct tools, literature and specifications.
· Ability to use the available Caterpillar diagnostic equipment and specials tools in a correct and safe manner.
· Complete legibly and accurately Service Reports, SIMS for all jobs.
· Minimum 5 years after the successful completion of Apprenticeship in Engine and Transmission overhaul in a Caterpillar Dealership.
· Familiar with using CAT diagnostic tools to conduct troubleshooting and repairs to CAT Engines, including, where applicable, the use of the Electronic Technician software

Electrician – Power Generation
· Perform installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, fault analysis, and repairs on all Rental equipment at the site.
· Perform the job assigned in a timely and accurate manner; develop the initiative to learn and perform the Electrical skills independently and with confidence.
· Troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical problems on all Rental equipment at the site.
· Submit accurate and complete Inspection Reports, as required by the Service procedures at the site.
· Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance on the equipment inspected at the site.
· Responsible for minor and major Electrical repairs, within his technical ability.
· In conjunction with other Service personnel, fit, connect and arrange setups, including cabling of Generators and Auxiliary equipment, in accordance to the technical specifications / requirements, maintaining safety precautions at all times.
· Perform manual synchronization of Generator sets to live utility signal by using the EMCP control panel.
· Monitor and adjust vital Generator set meter readings (i.e. kW, A, kVAR, p.f. etc.) for the satisfactory operation of the units.
· Must have at least 6 years working in field service and workshop on Diesel Generators (preferably CAT), transformers, panel boards and cablings. Must show the ability to work independently, with good knowledge of the English language to enable him to read and understand Service manuals and write Work Orders. Knowledge on parallel operation of Generator sets is a must. Medium Voltage works experience is preferable.

Interview will be done on 15 August 2007 in Jakarta.
