Supply Chain Manager – Indonesia

This position is responsible for leading and managing the performance of the Indonesia functional areas for Global Supply Chain Management (GSM) - Procurement, Materials and Logistics. Responsibilities include implementing supply chain strategies and tactics as part of the broader South East Asia & Global GSM organization. This role takes ownership and accountability for understanding customer (BU) requirements/needs and coordinating all supply chain activities to meet those needs at the same time comply with all BPMIGAS and other regulatory requirements.

Roles/Responsibilities:
• Lead employee/contractor resources for Procurement, Materials and Logistics functions.
• Identify supply chain opportunities within the country/region that enhance value to the business.
• Define and implement business aligned strategy, processes and performance metrics for areas of responsibility
• Responsible for setting local business priorities, guiding day to day projects and activities, participating in operations strategy and strategic objectives for the supply base.
• Create and manage budgets for the supply chain and participate in preparation and monitoring of Business budgets
• Execution of sourcing process for local procurement.
• Develop & optimize business relationships with key customer groups (Production Operations, Engineering, Drilling, Exploration and Developments)
• Facilitate collaboration between Customers, Category Managers and Account Managers.
• Assist Category Managers with training requirements, performance reviews and providing resources.

Requirements:
• Degree in any discipline, technical discipline background and MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years working experience in the oil & gas industry, 8 years of which are within the Supply Chain function or equivalent operations experience.
• Recognized expert in one functional area of the Supply Chain with broad experience in others
• Strong operational knowledge with emphasis on offshore operations
• Strong knowledge of global supply base operations
• Experience with Shore Base operations, marine vessel operations and inventory processes and optimization.
• Fluency in English end computer literate.
• Ability to coach, develop end motivate the team.
• Ability to create a collaborative environment that inspires innovation.
• Ability to set and articulate a clear and compelling purpose and direction
• Ability to create a sense of urgency and drive for closure.
