Safety Officers and QA/QC Engineers Required

SAFETY OFFICER

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Duties and Responsibilities:


1.Must be literate and be capable of producing detailed technical reports when required.

2.Liaises with other group leaders concerned-with the maintenance, inspection or operation of the company facilities.

3.Co-ordinates the training of local personnel within the planning group, as may be required from time to time.

4.Must be aware of proper man management techniques in order to motivate and control a multi-national workforce to the company's advantage.

5.Should have a responsible attitude to the needs and requirements of the company.

6.To be able to work with professional responsibility and with a minimum of supervision and controlling the potential hazard.

7.To be aware of fabrication and build techniques in the context of welded structures


SITE QC ENGINEER

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be completely familiar with all documents and records required to perform his duties.


Review and check the contract documents, approved shop drawings, approved fabrication drawings, special provisions, and any specification referenced in the contract, and examine them for relevant quality requirements such as: Work Procedure, ITP, MST etc. within the scope of FKTC and the latest revision status.


Coordinate various QC issues with the contractor, other sub-contractor, and consultant, per the project manager's direction, and the contact list that will be provided by the project manager or his designee. Holding point at the project site and hand over to the owner is just an example.

Review, check and verify that works are carried out according to the required quality standards and specifications.

Maintains accurate and complete daily log of his activities and decisions and submit copies to project manager and QA/QC manager.

Report to QA/QC Manager all relevant sites QC activities, prepares, and submit reports monthly or weekly to the QA/QC Manager.

In liaison with the Material Engineer, inspect the quality of incoming materials.

Ensure that the storage areas are inspected on a regular basis.

Reporting Non-conformance, correction and corrective actions, maintains NCR registration in the logbook, distribute a copy to the project manager and quality manager, and review any remedial work prior to close out. Ensure that all reworked or repaired items are re-inspected to ensure conformity with the agreed acceptance criteria. Obtain the required approval for the corrective action per the approved NCR procedure, and the NCR is deemed to be "Close out".

Review weekly the NCR log and examine the status of all NCR's raised.

Analyse monthly all NCR's raised, by discipline and report the result to QA/QC manager and Project manager.

Establish and maintain the quality records and ensure that the Quality Records Index is up to date.

Prepare a Snag list upon the instruction of the Project Manager for review for corrective action, and copy the quality manager.
Experiences: at least 8 Years at the same field
