Safety Manager

We are Foreign Multidiscipline Construction and Engineering Company inviting for the qualified person to fill the following senior position:


Safety Manager

Essential Criteria:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent with at least 10 years experience in a similar position
- Experience in the Construction Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and data reporting
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiar with HSE Procedure including development and implementation of the Project Safety Plan
- Must have a “hands on attitude” to the work environment
- Diligent & able to work under pressure, self motivated with a positive working attitude


Key responsibilities:

- Planning and implementation of safety programs and procedures
- Preparing and conducting regular reviews and audits of those procedures
- Conducting routine safety inspections and monitoring safety performance
- Providing advice and assistance to the Project Manager and employees in implementation of training programs and risk assessment
- Supporting project staff in the daily management of safety issues
- Promote and develop a safety pro-active safety culture


This is a senior position and will require a strong and independent leader with the effective communication skills and work ethic.
