WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN OFFSHORE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Qatargas Operating Company has exciting opportunities available for qualified professionals to join our company in the development of the vast North Field in Qatar. Qatargas currently has under development over $20 billion worth of major projects, including the construction of four new Liquefied Natural Gas trains for the production and export of LNG to every corner of the globe.

Job Requirements

• Support offshore operations on their short and long term requirements.
• Prepare contract documentation.
• Develop operational, quality, environmental, administrative procedures.
• Liaises with other departments and coordinate implementation of activities and projects.
• Review & prepare operational strategies.
• Undertake medium to highly complex projects with single point responsibility.
• Participate in the development & feasibility testing of new equipment.
• Co-ordinate site activities in liaison with the Lead Maintenance Engineer. Ensures environmental and safety standards are enacted.
• Prepare reports on chemical consumption and warehouse inventories and recommendations to reduce it. Also provides a half yearly projection for chemical consumption.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in engineering discipline.
• 12 years operations experience within oil & gas environment, preferably with pipeline operations experience.
• Excellent oral and written communicator.
• Flexible and innovative.
• Have a focused, pragmatic approach to solving complex problems and a keen determination to deliver positive results.
